What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a professional, complete visual examination of the all the systems and physical structural elements of a home. Our emphasis is on identifying existing or potential problems that would affect a purchasers buying decision.
Do you perform single system inspections?
We understand that homeowners may want a single major system inspected such as plumbing or HVAC so we happily perform these inspections for those individuals. Pricing varies based on system and equipment so we ask that you call our inspector on duty to discuss your needs and pricing.
What is included in an inspection?
You'll receive a non-biased detailed inspection including but not limited to: exterior, interior flaws, structural compromise and foundation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roof, attic/insulation, and crawlspace if provided. If the roof is considered hazardous by the inspector, they have the right to not inspect it.
What if a problem uncovers during the inspection?
We advise our clients of all problems found and include them in our reports. No home is perfect. Everything we find can be used as a negotiating technique. You can request that the homeowner adjusts price to fix issues or simply ask for the homeowner to handle the repairs prior to moving forward.
Does a new construction home need an inspection?
Absolutely. A professional inspection of a new home is important. We can spot potential problems early, while they are still easy to correct. It’s especially valuable to arrange an inspection before the interior walls are finished. As building professionals, we may find problem areas where the builder has taken shortcuts or not done good work.
Do you offer discounts for military?
We appreciate our brothers and sisters who provide a service to our community and to our country. We offer $50 discounts on home inspections to first-responders and active and non-active military. Thank you for your service! You will need to call in for this discount so we can properly apply the discount.
